Planting and care

The only downside with hybrids is that they can sometimes be short-lived: the stumps hollow out and rot. The best way to make them last is to divide the stumps every 2 to 3 years, preferably in spring. Once rejuvenated, they will be your companions for life. Deciduous, the foliage completely disappears in winter.
