Description
Calamagrostis brachytricha is a beautiful grass with narrow and slender leaves, green with bronze reflections. The tall, upright but very flexible stems bear gorgeous spikes of beige tinged with purple violet, which then turn silvery grey.
The unique way the flowers catch the light when covered with dew or after rain makes it one of the most beautiful flowering grasses. Absolutely remarkable when used in large groups, in a rather moist soil and in a semi-shaded location.
