Dimensions: head size of 25 x 16cm (6in) - handle length: 90cm (35in)

The forked spade is a more versatile tool than an ordinary spade, designed to loosen, loosen and crumble the soil deeply. It is much better suited than a spade for working clay or heavy and compact soils. It allows you to work the soil without completely turning it over, simply by dislodging it with the penetration of the teeth. Unlike the classic spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life, essential for its health and fertility. It allows you to lift and remove weeds with their root clumps, but also to pull out certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), and divide large clumps of perennial plants. This forked spade consists of a natural ash handle, known for its hardness, with a metal ferrule where the forged head is attached in a resistant tempered steel with a boron steel finish, resistant to shocks, torsion and corrosion. The T-shaped handle multiplies the force: it allows you to leverage the head into the ground. It is compostable, the metal head is recyclable. The word 'spork' refers to a utensil that has the shape of a spoon, like a shovel, with the pointed ends of a fork.

The traditional De Pypere range includes quality tools, all forged from steel and equipped with ash handles. The tempered boron steel that covers the blades is very hard and very resistant, it is a good material for tools that can be heavily used in the garden.

This tool is under warranty. This does not apply to handles or grips, only to metal parts except consumables (screws, springs, etc.) and within the scope of normal use.
