France production Made in France
A terracing pickaxe that stands out for its Novagrip three-material handle, both unbreakable and ergonomic! Novagrip is an innovative combination of a very robust fiberglass core and a second layer of polypropylene, all covered with an elastomeric grip that absorbs any shock during use. The pickaxe head is made entirely of hardened steel for better wear resistance. It has a "diamond" pointed side, useful for removing stones and stumps, and a rectangular blade side with a sharp cutting edge that allows for digging, loosening, and cutting roots in softer soil. It is an essential tool for preparing, terracing, and planting in hard and rocky soils. Available in a version with a wooden handle.

The Novagrip handle Leborgne terracing pickaxe is a large hand tool specifically designed for heavy work on very hard and stony soils, and is distinguished by its trimaterial Novagrip handle, which is both comfortable to handle and unbreakable! Its wear-resistant hardened steel head has two sides, one of which is diamond-shaped for breaking up hard ground, removing stones and stumps, and the other is a rectangular blade with a sharpened cutting edge for aerating, digging, and cutting roots in loosened soil. It is the perfect tool for preparation before cultivation and terracing in difficult-to-work soils. Available with a wooden handle. Handles sold as spare parts. Made in France.

Dimensions: Weight: 2 kg - Handle length: 90 cm (35in)

The terracing pickaxe is a fairly heavy tool, composed of a steel head fixed to a handle with a socket. It is one of the oldest tools in the world and is mainly used for heavy garden work such as terracing, stump removal, and stone and rock extraction. It is the perfect tool for preparing very hard and stony soils before cultivation. Its metal head, mounted at a 90-degree (194°F) angle to the handle, has two sides, one ending in a sharp point for extracting large roots, rocks, and de-compacting hard and stony soils. The other side is a rectangular blade with a sharp edge for loosening, digging, and weeding softer soils. This model is equipped with a forged steel head, fully hardened for better wear resistance. Its round socket ensures a perfectly stable connection between the head and the handle, as well as easy replacement of the handle. This digging tool is made of a trimaterial handle made from fiberglass reinforced with a copolymer polypropylene and covered with an elastomer, which together ensure its robustness, shock absorption, and a comfortable grip. Its perforated end allows for hanging storage. The apple-shaped handle allows for more efficient use as a lever. This tool is assembled in France.
