The root-cutting spade is a garden tool with a rather narrow blade and a specific shape, designed for digging deep into any type of soil (except stony ground) and cutting roots. This model has an ash handle that is weather-resistant. The socket is a long carbon steel sleeve where the sharpened blade with saw teeth on each side is attached. It is made of extra-hardened carbon steel that is resistant to shocks, wear, and torsion. The blade of the shovel has two small footrests on both sides of the handle.
