The French Marigold or Tagetes is an annual plant with an abundant and prolonged summer flowering period. It is very easy to grow and can be planted in both ornamental gardens and vegetable gardens, where it traditionally accompanies tomatoes, as its scent is reputed to repel insects and nematodes. They are appreciated for their warm and bright colours (yellow, orange...) as well as their distinctive fragrance, with pleasant citrus notes. In the garden, you can plant them along the edge of flower beds, on the terrace or balcony, or in pots or containers, where they will quickly form a beautiful compact and branched clump. To further extend their long flowering period, remember to remove faded flowers.

You'll love them!
