This mix of mat-forming bedding plants is a collection of easy-to-grow, generous plants that will not exceed 25 cm in height. It contains pretty wildflowers that develop into a multicoloured, unpretentious carpet that looks wonderful at the back of lawns, while bringing a nice touch of freshness and luxuriance to the more neglected areas of the garden. Sow in the spring, and it will flower from summer onwards, then from spring onwards in the following years, accompanied by a bustling ballet of pollinating and other insects that are useful for the garden. Sow directly in the sun, in well-prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth.
This selection is made up of 25 varieties of annual, biennial or short-lived perennial flowering plants such as alyssum, Cerastium, dwarf California poppies, Virginia stock, poached egg plant, toadflax, forget-me-not, selfheal, soapworts and catchflies. All these plants are fast-growing and naturalise easily by self-seeding spontaneously in the garden, in ordinary, well-drained soil. A packet of seeds covers approximately 8 square meters. Beds should be renewed by sowing again every 3 years. Sowing can also be done in autumn in milder climates, and will give plants that will bloom the following spring. The height of the plants varies between 15 and 25 cm (5.9 to 9.8 in).
Great for adding a touch of colour to sunny, wilder-looking areas, at the edges of lawns and beds, this multicoloured, heavy-blooming carpet is also a precious asset for pollinating insects and natural predators of garden pests. Sow this mix along paths, on a slope bordering a sunken path, or at the back of a garden bordering fields. To mix the useful with the enjoyable, add in our white, blue and pink bouquet mix in the background!

Sowing instructions:
Sow directly in their final position once the earth has warmed up, from March to early June, in a weed-free soil that has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow thinly on the surface of the soil and rake it lightly to cover the seeds. You can also sow at a depth of 1.5 mm, in drills spaced 30 cm apart. Germination normally takes 14-21 days.
Sowing in autumn is also possible, in regions where winters are not so harsh.
Growing instructions :
When the seedlings appear, water well and remove weeds. In the autumn, when the plants have finished flowering and after collecting their seeds, they can be directly sown in the same place again, having prepared the soil. Water well to make the seeds adhere to the soil.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
