Meadow Sensation

This Meadow Sensation mix brings together 24 species of low-growing perennial and annual plants, with a flowering period ranging from June until the end of September. The mixture allows for the easy composition of a colourful field of plants, useful for biodiversity, without requiring much maintenance or special skills. The seeds are sown in the spring, broadcast in well-prepared and loosened soil, in a sunny or semi-shaded location.

The plants included in this mixture flower 6 to 10 weeks after sowing, abundantly, and some of them will spontaneously reseed in the garden in light soil. One pack of seeds can cover an area of up to 100 square metres. The height of the plants does not exceed 50 cm (20in).

At the end of flowering, mow and remove the plants to prepare the soil for sowing again the following year.

It has become very popular to sow a wildflower meadow, and it combines the useful with the pleasant: blooming throughout the summer season, it has a bucolic charm, promotes biodiversity, and is water-efficient. Occasional watering during very dry periods will be sufficient to obtain numerous flowers.
