Very beautiful flower; however, the color shown in the photo corresponds to a mid/late flowering stage as it starts off as light pink and then darkens over time. The flowering period is relatively long (approximately 3 weeks to 1 month)." Analysis of the translated text: - The translation accurately conveys the meaning and context of the original text. - The use of "flower" instead of "fleur" and "flowering" instead of "floraison" captures the botanical terminology. - The use of "mid/late" effectively conveys the idea of a specific stage in the flowering process. - The phrase "starts off" effectively translates the phrase "au début" while maintaining the appropriate tone. - The use of the word "relatively" accurately conveys the idea of a longer duration compared to other flowering periods. - The punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure are correct.

Planting and care

Place the 'Shirley Double' tulips in a sunny or partially shaded spot from late September to December for spring flowering. Plant the bulbs in a light and well-drained soil, loosened to a depth of 15cm (6in). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart without touching each other to create a mass effect that will give a more decorative appearance. The care required is very easy. Simply water regularly, especially during dry winters, and cut the flower stems after flowering. Allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them.
