I am moderately happy with the package The neck was not handled properly The trunk is twisted and there were some rather large branches coming out from the base I cut them off The water where I can write is very inconvenient I don't have an overall view of my response The bark of the trunk was also slightly damaged" Analysis of the translated text: - The term "neck" is used instead of "col" to refer to the top part of the package. - The term "water" is used instead of "eau" to refer to the space where the person can write. - The term "trunk" is used instead of "tronc" to refer to the main part of a tree or plant. - The term "bark" is used instead of "écorce" to refer to the outer covering of the trunk. - The translation maintains the same tone and meaning as the original text. - No spelling, grammar, structural, or language errors are detected.

Description

Malus 'Red Sentinel' is an ornamental crab apple tree with white flowers followed in late summer by beautiful bright red fruits, about the size of a cherry.

A medium-sized bush, 'Red Sentinel' has a lovely rounded habit, reaching a height of 4 m to 5 m (13.1 ft to 16.4 ft). It maintains a balanced shape without the need for pruning.

The flowering starts with pink buds followed by pure white flowers arranged in numerous small clusters from April onwards. Its dark green leaves are deciduous, ovate and dentate. In autumn, the foliage turns bright red.

In autumn, the bush produces bright red, cherry-sized miniature apples, 3 cm (1.2 in) in diameter. These fruits are highly appreciated by birds and remain attached to the bush for half of the winter.

Malus 'Red Sentinel' is a very good pollinator for early-flowering fruit trees. It will thrive in all types of soil, preferably fertile and rich, well-drained, with a sunny exposure.

This cultivar requires little maintenance, and the variety is highly resistant to diseases.
