Description

Planting and care

Plantez ce duo au printemps ou en automne, dans un emplacement lumineux, au soleil non brûlant ou à mi-ombre dans les régions chaudes. La baie de mai ‘Eisbär’ doit guider le choix de l’emplacement : elle demande une terre profonde, humifère, fraîche en été et non calcaire. Le goji Sweet Lifeberry, plus tolérant, accepte une terre de jardin ordinaire, même légèrement calcaire, si elle reste bien drainée. En sol calcaire, sec ou superficiel, installez plutôt la baie de mai dans un grand bac rempli d’un mélange riche, frais et non calcaire, et plantez le goji en pleine terre à proximité. Laissez environ 1,50 m entre les deux arbustes, arrosez régulièrement la première année, puis paillez le pied du camérisier afin de maintenir la fraîcheur.

Care

Pruning instructions En mars, taillez surtout le goji, en supprimant le bois mort, les rameaux faibles ou mal placés, puis en raccourcissant légèrement les tiges trop longues si nécessaire. La baie de mai ‘Eisbär’ fleurissant très tôt au printemps, évitez de la tailler à cette période, sauf pour retirer du bois mort. Attendez la fin de la récolte pour éclaircir légèrement sa ramure si elle devient trop dense.
