This professional Planting Compost for shrubs and roses facilitates good establishment and vigorous growth of all your trees, bushes, roses, fruit trees, and conifers. It promotes root development, nourishes plants and improves soil structure, while ensuring healthy growth and supporting flowering.

This professional planting soil for shrubs and roses 'Pro Formula 401 + mycorrhiza' is a high-quality substrate, specifically designed to optimise the establishment, growth, and nutrition of all your trees, bushes, roses, fruit trees, and conifers. Highly versatile and well-balanced, it can be used in open ground or in pots, indoors or outdoors, for planting or repotting. Its composition, rich in blonde and black peat, gives it a very interesting structure: light, airy, and conducive to root development, it is complemented by a good water retention capacity thanks to the addition of organic matter. It also contains compost and horn, which ensure a prolonged distribution of nutrients and support growth. Enriched with mycorrhiza, it optimizes the availability of nutritional resources. The presence of mycorrhiza in this soil improves the absorption of water and nutrients at the root level. Mycorrhiza (from the Greek "myco", meaning "fungus", and "rhiza", meaning "root") is the result of the symbiotic association called mycorrhization, benefiting both fungi and plant roots. A mycorrhizal plant grows faster, blooms better, and produces more abundant harvests. The pH of this soil, close to neutral (6.5), also optimises the use of fertilising elements by the plant, ensuring vigorous and healthy growth.

Tips

Main uses This substrate is suitable for planting and repotting trees, bushes, and roses, both in the ground and in pots. You can also use it for your flower beds and balconies. In the garden, it is very useful for improving sandy and poor soils, or on the contrary, heavy, clayey, and compact soils, as well as unbalanced limestone soils. Use it alone or mixed with your garden soil in equal parts. For established plants, it is also recommended to add a layer of compost on the surface in spring, incorporated by light raking. Avoid letting this peat-rich soil completely dry out as it would be difficult to rehydrate. Close the opened bag carefully and store it away from heat and sunlight. Also, avoid using fungicides and soluble phosphorus after applying this mycorrhizal substrate (mycorrhizae are fungi that would be destroyed by these substances).
