Planted last autumn, the root ball looked a bit frail but it survived the winter in the ground. I thought it would never grow, but now it's starting to. It's doing well despite its small current size.

Description

Schizostylis coccinea 'Major' is a vigorous evergreen perennial that grows in watercourses and wet meadows. It bears evergreen foliage and produces about ten beautiful red star-shaped flowers on a spike, similar to gladiolus.
