This Spear & Jackson long-handled weeding knife is the essential tool for cleaning, weeding, and removing moss in all the inaccessible nooks and crannies, without having to bend over: joints between slabs or paving stones, corners of walls, small cracks in pathways or the terrace... It has a long wood handle that allows you to work standing up, and a sharp steel blade for precise work. It is a durable, robust, well-made tool that will last for many years.
The weeding knife is an eco-friendly tool, designed to remove weeds without the use of chemicals. You can use it to hoe the soil, manually removing weeds and moss by scraping the soil without turning it over. The narrow and pointed, angled head of this model easily slips into tight spaces. Equipped with a double sharpened edge, the cutting blade allows for vegetation cutting, scraping, and scratching, and above all, dislodging low-growing weeds that have managed to germinate and grow in the narrowest places. This tool consists of a 1.30m beech handle, a wood known for its hardness and lightness, with a metal socket where the resistant steel blade is attached, resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion. The whole tool weighs only 675 grams, it is a lightweight and manoeuvrable tool that is very comfortable to use. The handle is compostable, the metal head is recyclable.
