This digging fork has a sturdy head with 4 triangular, steel, 30 cm long tines, designed to penetrate deeply into any type of soil, especially hard and/or rocky terrain. The wooden handle, ending in a T shape, facilitates grip and improves the manoeuvrability of this tool. It is versatile and can also be used to aerate the soil near established plants without damaging their roots, remove stones, uprooting and transplanting work.

This durable Spear & Jackson digging fork has been designed to loosen and work the soil to a good depth, with minimal effort. Equipped with a relatively short ash handle and finished with a T-shaped, this garden tool has a steel head with four, long, sharp and sturdy tines suitable for difficult, heavy, clayey or stony soils. It is also very useful for aerating and working the soil near already planted vegetation without damaging their roots, clearing stones from a plot, bringing up larvae as well as for uprooting and transplanting.

Dimensions: blade: 30 cm in height, 19.5 cm in width - Handle length: 80 cm - Weight 1.720 Kg

The digging fork is a complementary tool to the spade, designed to loosen, cultivate and crumble the soil in depth, in small areas. It is much better suited than the spade for working clayey, heavy, compact or stony soils. It loosens the soil without turning it over, simply through the penetration of the tines. Unlike the spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life and does not cut through earthworms, which are essential for soil health and fertility. It can be used to dig up weeds, as well as some vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), or even for dividing large clumps of perennial plants. This model, with its large fork, will also uproot small shrubs. It consists of an ash handle, resistant to bending and shocks, with a socket where the head of 4 steel tines with triangular tips are attached. The handle is compostable, the metal head is recyclable.
