It is innovative, efficient, ergonomic, and eco-friendly, an essential tool for gardeners who want to garden organically and sustainably.

The Mole 50 CDF resembles the famous Grelinette (patented model), but this "self-supporting" garden tool is equipped with solid wheels. It is used in the same way. This model, with a 50 cm (20in) head equipped with fixed counter-teeth spaced 10 cm (4in) apart, is designed for heavy soils. The Mole has very well-studied ergonomics and proven efficiency while allowing it to work the soil without disturbing its fragile balance. It is innovative, efficient, ergonomic and ecological, an essential tool for gardeners who want to garden organically and sustainably! Made in France.

The classic fork is originally a complementary tool to the spade, designed to loosen, cultivate and crumble the soil deeply, on small surfaces. It is much better suited than the spade for working clay or heavy and compact soils. This new model of The Mole for gardeners breaks up clumps, allows roots and stones to be removed, and saves time in aerating the soil.

Technical features and product advantages:

  • 50 cm (20in) wide frame
  • Pleasant grip: 2 handles made of 120 cm (47in) ash wood
  • Solid wheels with a diameter of 20 cm: no need to carry the tool.
  • Straight back work, balanced activity posture.
  • Lifting pedal, for transport position.
  • Steel teeth
  • Structure protection by powder-coated paint at 200 °C
  • Depth adjustment.

The work is done backwards.

Its use requires a little training:

  • Insert the teeth into the soil by sliding your foot at the level of the transverse bar of the head
  • Then pull towards you by lowering the handles (the tooth implantation angle allows the clod of earth to be lifted by simply pulling the handles towards oneself using a lever arm effect).
  • Make a small alternating lifting movement on each side.

Ideal tool for Aerating and loosening soil
Directions for use The Mole allows you to loosen and aerate the soil surface without turning it over, to remove roots and rocks. This gardening tool preserves the physical structure of the soil and avoids disturbing the biotope that contributes to its richness. It is used to prepare the soil before planting and sowing. This model, the 50 CDF, is suitable for compact, heavy and clayey soils. Using it requires some practice: working with the plant while moving backwards. Insert the teeth into the soil by sliding your foot on the crossbar and the step of the head. Then pull it towards you by lowering the handle to hip level. Make a small alternating lifting movement on each side. Remove the tool head from the soil. Work backwards. Tips: Clean the teeth after use. Store the tool in a dry and sheltered place.
