Its head has rounded shoulders for easy manoeuvring around bushes or plants in flower beds, complemented by a welded piece capable of hoeing the soil or removing weeds. Its tines are designed to work the soil without lifting rocks. This model is made from quality materials including cold-tempered steel and beech wood.

The garden fork was originally used to spread manure in fields. It is now commonly used to prepare the soil for sowing and planting. It is used in ornamental gardens and vegetable gardens, preferably on soil that is not too wet or compact. This model developed by Spear & Jackson, which easily fits between plants, has a scraper welded at the level of the two outer tines that make up its head.
