These 25 x 10 cm water-resistant sticky traps attract many flying insects such as flies, whiteflies, leaf miners, moths, aphids, scale insects... that are attracted by the yellow colour of the plates and trapped by the glue. Hang them near the plants to be protected, at a rate of 1 trap per 10 to 50 m². Sold in packs of 10.

These Biotop yellow sticky sheets are an effective and environmentally friendly solution to combat many harmful flying insects such as flies, whiteflies, leaf miners, moths, aphids, scale insects... They are attracted by the yellow colour of the sheets and trapped by the glue. These are called chromatic traps. The grid drawn on the plates allows for identification, counting, and monitoring of the populations present in the crops, as well as checking the effectiveness of the device. Hang the traps near the plants to be protected. Sold in packs of 10.

Dimensions: 25 cm wide by 10 cm high.

Protection against diseases and insects that harm crops often involves prevention. Sticky chromatic traps are environmentally friendly devices, free of pesticides, which act purely mechanically by trapping flying insects that lay eggs in fruits or under plant leaves. These yellow traps emit specific light frequencies that exclusively attract certain pests such as fruit tree flies (Mediterranean fruit flies, cherry flies, etc.).

Usage: from spring to summer on sensitive crops.

  • To reveal the sticky surfaces, remove the protective paper from each side of the sheet.
  • Hang the sheet on a support, near the plants to be protected, or suspend it with string in the branches of the tree at a height of 1.5 m.
  • Use 1 trap for 10 to 50 m².
  • Set up the trap in spring. To avoid trapping bees and other useful pollinators, wait until the end of the flowering period of fruit trees, berries, and other plants to be protected.
  • Replace the trap when it becomes dirty, as it will no longer be able to capture insects.
  • The sheets are water-resistant and biodegradable, they can be composted after use.

Storage:
The sheets should be kept in their original packaging, in a cool and dry place.
