A set of 3 x 30 g/m² winter fleece covers that protect your plants from the cold and wind, but allow air and water to pass through. Easy to set up, this non-woven polypropylene protective cover is treated with UV protection for one season. The Winterbag cover can be used for all cold-sensitive plants: perennial or shrubby, deciduous or evergreen, whether grown in pots or in the ground.

A set of 3 Winterbag covers designed in a winter veil that protects plants from the cold and wind, but allows air and water to pass through. Easy to set up, this protective cover is treated with anti-UV protection for one season. It can be used for all tender plants of moderate height (less than 1.5 m (5 ft)), whether perennial or shrubby, deciduous or evergreen, grown in pots or in the ground.

This Winterbag winter cover made of non-woven polypropylene with a density of 30 g/m² provides good thermal insulation. It has a look and flexibility reminiscent of a white honeycomb fabric, but it is a non-biodegradable material that has been treated to resist the UV rays of the sun for a few months. It acts as a barrier against wind and hail, and creates a favourable microclimate by retaining the heat accumulated during the day around the plant. Due to its tall narrow format, it is easy to put in place on the plant, simply by sliding it on from the top. Its permeable texture ensures good air circulation, which limits the accumulation of moisture produced by evergreen foliage that continues to breathe in winter. Rainwater also partially infiltrates down to the plant, thus avoiding excessive drying of the growing medium for plants grown in pots. Polypropylene is a material that is largely recycled from other products.

Directions for use This non-woven polypropylene winter cover provides effective protection for all tender, perennial or shrub plants, whether they be deciduous or even evergreen, grown in pots outdoors or in the open ground. It is easily put in place from autumn onwards and without causing problems to the plant: simply slip it on from the top. If your plant is a bit too wide, you can loosely tie its branches with a cord to reduce its size. You can ventilate it in good weather, when it is not freezing, and then close the cover before temperatures drop. Watering is often necessary in winter, especially for evergreen or mild-climate plants: always water in mild weather, preferably in the middle of the day, at the base of the plants.
