A non-woven white polypropylene winter veil weighing 30 g/m² that protects all young plants from the cold and wind, while allowing light, air and water to pass through. This veil can be easily cut to fit any specific need. It is UV-treated for one season.

The WINTERTEX winter veil protects all plants from the cold and wind, but allows light, air and essential water to pass through to keep them alive. This veil can be easily cut to the desired dimensions to fit any need. Easy to install, simply wrap it around the trees or shrubs in the garden or on the terrace that fear heavy frosts, making sure to close it at the base and the top of the plant. It is UV-treated for one season.

This non-woven polypropylene winter veil has a density of 30 g/m² and provides good thermal insulation while allowing light to filter through. It has an appearance and flexibility reminiscent of a very lightweight, honeycomb white fabric, but it is a non-biodegradable material. It also acts as a barrier against bad weather and creates a favourable microclimate by retaining the heat accumulated during the day around the plant. On sunny days and when there is no frost, remember to ventilate and water your plant, especially if it retains its foliage in winter. The permeable texture of this winter veil ensures good air circulation, which limits the accumulation of moisture produced by evergreen foliage that continues to breathe in winter. Rainwater, as well as moisture from the air, can partially penetrate to the plant, thus preventing the drying out of the atmosphere or the growing medium for those grown in pots. Polypropylene is a material that is largely made from recycling other products.

Directions for use This winter protection veil provides good winter protection for tender plants or shrubs grown in containers outdoors or in open ground. It should be put in place from autumn onwards and easily fits around the plant: simply cut it to the desired size using scissors and wrap it around the plant. Once the plant is covered, tighten the base and top of this protection using a tie (string, twine, etc.). Also remember to protect the pot with bubble wrap or winter protection veil layered multiple times to insulate the roots from the cold. You can ventilate it on sunny days when it is not freezing. Watering is often necessary in winter, especially for evergreen plants or those from mild climates: always water on mild days, preferably in the middle of the day, at the base of the plants. This veil is treated with anti-UV protection for one season.
