The large-flowered rose ‘Rouge Adam’ has the advantage of providing a long flowering period, from May until the first frosts. This small bush, reaching 80 cm in height, bears large 13 cm turbinate flowers with a perfect shape on sturdy stems. The flowers are dark red with black highlights and have a beautiful velvety appearance, but they are not fragrant. The rose 'Clos Vougeot', a floral and fruity fragrance

Floriferous, vigorous, and fragrant, the ‘Clos Vougeot’ rose boasts numerous qualities. Named in homage to the great wine of Burgundy, it blooms from June to October, offering flowers that are both turbinate and reminiscent of old roses. Measuring 10 cm, the flowers are cherry red with pink highlights and emit a complex fragrance, featuring floral notes of rose and fruity scents of strawberry and raspberry, underpinned by the smell of ivy. They grow in a bouquet on dark green foliage.

The ‘Clos Vougeot’ rose forms a bush 1.10 metres high and 70 cm wide. It can be used in a border with other roses or bushes, or alongside light flowers such as gypsophila or white gaura. You can also plant it next to vine plants as a nod to its name!
