Anemone 'Pretty Lady Maria'
The Japanese anemone ‘Pretty Lady Maria’ is a small variety that will not exceed 50 cm in height and width, a compact format ideal for growing in pots. Single white flowers appear from August until the first autumn chills.
We recommend placing this perennial with pure white flowers in a spot bathed in gentle sunlight or partial shade, in well-drained, rich, and cool soil. Enrich the soil every spring, and the flowering will become increasingly abundant over the years. Remove the dry flower stems and then the damaged foliage at the end of winter.
Anemone 'Snow Angels'
With its modest size of around 50 cm in all directions, the white Japanese anemone ‘Snow Angels’ is perfect for thriving in a pot. Discover this stunning variety that offers semi-double white flowers from August to October, with intricately cut petal edges that are very graphic and a prominent heart of golden stamens. Its abundant flowering is guaranteed with rich, well-drained, and cool soil, along with regular watering in summer, more frequent during dry spells as the soil tends to dry out quickly in a pot.
Grow it on your balcony or in a small urban courtyard to enjoy its delightful flowering all summer long into autumn.

Anemone 'Fantasy Jasmine'
Here is a small model of Japanese anemone that does not exceed 40 cm in height and width. ‘Fantasy Jasmine’ is a very floriferous variety that produces a multitude of small, deep pink flowers with golden yellow stamens from August until the end of autumn. Its small size and compact habit make it perfect for pot cultivation.
Like all autumn anemones, use a rich, fresh substrate and a location that is partially shaded, with some sun during the cooler hours of the day. As with all potted plants, ensure regular watering in summer, especially during hot periods. Provide them with some enriched substrate every spring, as anemones are greedy perennials that thrive on it.

Late variety, the Japanese anemone ‘Fantasy Cinderella’ blooms later than most others, specifically around September and continuing into October. In addition to having good structure in borders, it also thrives in pots. Its dense habit gives it a lovely silhouette in containers.
Therefore, cultivate it in a small space such as a balcony or a small garden like a courtyard or patio. It produces single pink flowers with a bright centre of yellow stamens. Like all anemones, it will enjoy full sun or partial shade and will appreciate rich, cool soil.

Anemone 'Prinz Heinrich'
And to finish, here is the old variety ‘Prinz Heinrich’, a beautiful pink Japanese anemone that has proven itself! Its semi-double and double flowers, ranging from purplish-pink to violet depending on the light, are slightly frilled. With a height of 70 cm and a spread not exceeding 60 cm, it is easy to grow in a pot.
Prefer a partially shaded location rather than direct sunlight, which will not suit it. In a pot, consider adding a rich substrate on the surface to nourish the anemone as it tends to be quite greedy.
