The rose 'American Pillar', the brilliance of Indian pink all summer long.

The ‘American Pillar’ rose is a very vigorous and reliable rambling rose. It can grow up to a height of 6 metres and blooms generously for two months in summer, from June to July. In a garden, on a wall or a pergola, it catches the eye with its multitude of simple flower bouquets resembling hips, in carmine pink with a white centre adorned with yellow stamens. To achieve lovely flowering garlands, train its branches horizontally. Another advantage is that in autumn, it is covered in hips, small orange fruits that delight the birds! The ‘American Pillar’ rose is a cultivar by Van Fleet dating back to 1902 and has a botanical rose from Asia as its ancestor.

The rose 'May Queen', a delightful apple fragrance

The ‘May Queen’ rambling rose will delight fans of old roses and those who appreciate the scent of apples! Created in 1898 by Manda in the United States, it is not strictly speaking an old rose as it was introduced after 1867, but it shares certain qualities with old roses. From May to June, it is covered in bouquets of 7 cm flowers in a pink-lilac hue. The bright pink buds open into double or semi-double roses, forming flat rosettes. They emit a unique apple fragrance with tangy and intense notes. The ‘May Queen’ rambling rose grows up to a height of 4 metres and produces small orange fruits in autumn. It adorns gates or trellises with its long flowering stems.
