Lagerstroemia is a bush that offers beautiful summer flowering, often pink, and deciduous foliage, taking on lovely colours in autumn. It is also appreciated for its decorative, smooth bark, with a colour ranging from grey to beige and reddish-brown. Although the largest Lagerstroemias can reach up to 9 m in height, there are also dwarf varieties, which are very well suited to growing in pots. They are perfect for small gardens or for adding colour to a sunny patio. To grow them, it is important to choose a large pot to give them room to develop properly. You can then place the pot on a patio or in an inner courtyard, in full sun! Remember to water regularly, especially after planting and during dry spells, because in a pot the potting mix dries out much faster than in open ground. To choose the most suitable variety, we present here the dwarf Lagerstroemias suitable for growing in pots!

Its leaves are purplish-green, and its young shoots are tinged with red. Ideal for creating an exotic atmosphere, for example alongside bougainvillea or palm trees. The vivid colour of its flowering serves as a focal point, drawing the eye and adding vibrancy to a terrace or small courtyard.
