  1. Heat a cup of boiling water (about 250 ml).
  2. Add a teaspoon of dried sage leaves. You can also

b) People who should avoid consuming sage

  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women: common sage may disrupt hormones and promote hot flushes.
  • People undergoing medical treatment: sage may interact with certain medicines, particularly anticoagulants and hormone therapies. Seek advice from your doctor.
  • People with epilepsy: thujone present in the plant may trigger seizures, especially with excessive consumption.
