10 climbing roses for pergola
Floriferous and easy to train!
Contents
To dress a pergola, nothing beats climbing roses English, traditional or modern! Trained over an arch, they create a truly charming, poetic and fragrant walkway. Provided they are chosen with moderate growth yet vigorous enough to clamber over the entire structure. Numerous varieties stand out for their flowers, single or double, and for their colours ranging from the most delicate pastels to the deepest reds.
Their branches should be supple and fairly loose, easy to train in all three dimensions of the pergola, and ideally not very thorny so as not to get scratched at every passing. Liana roses are too exuberant for this use.
We therefore offer a selection of best climbing roses to flower a pergola. Discover them with their characteristics to make the right choice!
