It can be used to dig narrow and deep planting holes, furrows, post holes, and deep and narrow trenches. This handheld tool is also used by nurserymen to dig up trees and bushes, as its narrow and long blade can reach deep roots. This model has a steel handle, much more robust than wood. It will vary according to where you live:
