These flowers have bloomed generously and for a long time, but they were yellow and green, so not the right color..." Analysis of the translated text: - The word "tulipes" has been correctly translated as "flowers" to maintain the general meaning of the sentence. - The verb "ont fleuri" has been translated as "have bloomed" to convey the action of the flowers blooming. - The adverbs "généreusement" and "durablement" have been translated as "generously" and "for a long time" respectively to accurately describe the extent and duration of the blooming. - The word "mai" has been translated as "but" to indicate a contrast or contradiction. - The word "selles" has been corrected to "they" to maintain grammatical correctness. - The phrase "pas de la bonne couleur" has been translated as "not the right color" to convey the disappointment with the color of the flowers.

Description

The 'Groenland' Double Tulip is a lovely variety with pink petals and a yellow/green central vein. The outer petals are green. Its large double flowers emerge in April-May.

They are perched on tall, sturdy stems that withstand inclement weather. This 'Groenland' tulip can reach about 40cm (16in) in height.

It is a tulip that has good hardiness. The double tulip fits perfectly in large flower beds. Pair it with other tulips to maximize the flowering duration of the flower beds. It also pairs perfectly with tall perennials. It can also be used in borders, rockeries, flower beds, as well as in pots and planters. This tulip beautifully enhances balconies and terraces. They are also lovely cut flowers.

Planting and care

Place the double 'Groenland' tulips preferably in a sunny location from October to December for beautiful spring flowering. You can also place them in a partially shaded area. Plant the bulbs as soon as possible in a light, fertile, and well-drained soil, loosened to a depth of 15cm (6in) (the bulbs should be covered with soil twice their height). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart, making sure they do not touch each other for a mass effect. Cut the flower stalks after flowering. Allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them.
