Not yet out, I live in a montane area but everything I had bought is in flower so a little patience for this beautiful spectacle." Analysis of the translated text: - "out" can be replaced with "in bloom" for a more accurate translation. - "montane" is the appropriate term for "montagnarde" in this context. - "everything I had bought" can be replaced with "everything I bought" for a more concise translation. - "for this beautiful spectacle" can be replaced with "for this stunning display" for a more expressive translation. Revised translation: "Not yet in bloom, I live in a montane area but everything I bought is in flower, so a little patience for this stunning display.

Description

The 'White Heart' Double Tulip is a spring bulb that blooms in April. This variety of tulips produces large double flowers in pure white colour. They are perched on very sturdy short stems that withstand the weather. It is a robust plant.

The 'White Heart' tulip, which has spring interest, reaches a height of 40cm (16in) and a width of 15cm (6in) at maturity. Its green foliage is deciduous. Originating from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, it is a tulip that has good hardiness.

The late double tulip fits perfectly in large flowerbeds and by combining it with other tulips, it maximizes the flowering duration of the flowerbeds. It can also be used in borders, rockeries, flower beds, as well as in pots and containers. This tulip beautifully decorates balconies and terraces. They are also lovely cut flowers. It pairs perfectly with tall perennials as well as pansies or primroses.

Planting and care

Place the 'White Heart' tulips in a sunny or partially shaded spot from late September to December for spring flowering. Plant the bulbs in a light and well-drained soil that has been loosened to a depth of 15 cm (6in). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart without touching each other to create a mass effect that will provide a more decorative appearance. The care required is very easy. Simply water regularly, especially during dry winters, and trim the flower stems after flowering. Allow the leaves to completely dry before cutting them.
