5/5 Beautiful South African bulbous plant of pink colour that blooms in the south of France at the end of August or beginning of September. A leafless stem emerges from the soil. Do not confuse it with the South American hippeastrum, which has larger flowers and has been extensively hybridized.

Currently in summer dormancy. Let's wait until the end of summer and the return of rain to see its flowering.

Healthy bulb, but sold dormant at this time of the year (it should be in growth during the winter). We'll see if it flowers in late summer...
