Organic Chives

Organic Chives or Spring Onions are aromatic and culinary plants grown in vegetable gardens or in pots for their long and hollow leaves with a garlic-like and spicy taste. Organic seeds of Chives Staro with large leaves are sown from February to June for harvesting from May to September. From March to May, Chives bloom with beautifully decorative mauve pompoms. They are propagated by dividing the clump or by sowing. Like Spring Onions, they thrive in moderately rich soil in sun and partial shade. Our certified organically grown Chives plants and seeds are produced without any chemical treatment or fertiliser.
