Plants purchased in a garden centre. It will be a discovery for me. I had never heard or seen this type of celery before. Looking forward to seeing the result at the end of October, early November.

Outcome in a few months

Only 2 feet have grown, but they are very beautiful.

I tried celeriac without much success, so I'm going to give celery stalk a try, which I use a lot in cooking.

Good germination and good development. Takes several months before producing stems thick enough.

Thrives very well on my small Parisian balcony, alongside tomatoes and other aromatic herbs, and not only provides a bit of privacy by blocking the view and providing some shade. A delight raw in salad and dried to prepare a homemade vegetable broth.

I only get stems as thin as parsley's!
