Loire Authion" would be translated as "Loire Authion" in British English. It is the name of a place and does not require translation.
I had a 35m (115ft) giant sequoia, approximately 160 years old according to the striations, which recently died from drought (it's a bit more complex, but drought was the determining factor). The young plant, which I planted in the back of my garden a few years ago, grows extremely fast, faster than the giant sequoia, and is thriving (there's a small stream behind the wall). It has a slender silhouette, a very regular habit, foliage resembling that of the yew, and has surpassed 15 meters (49 feet) in just a few years. Magnificent, but should only be planted in a large garden, considering its present and future environment.
Delivery was very fast on Tuesday morning as expected, the 2 young plants were in good condition and beautiful, they were planted that same day in the late afternoon, following your planting instructions, in Brittany, in Morbihan, 35 km (21.7mi) away from the ocean, in a large field of plants, at a distance from 2 leafy hedges and protected by these hedges.
The climate is temperate, never very hot, and humid. I hope these sequoias will thrive and grow.
The tree arrived in good condition and quickly, but it is much smaller than what was advertised on the website...only 1.50 meters (5 feet) at most in its pot (compared to approx. 2 meters (7 feet))...I hope it will shoot up quickly...
