Very beautiful, after 2 years they are already 2.30 meters tall. So beautiful.
Although they still produce quite a lot of seed heads despite this variety.
So I collected some myself and... it's growing :-)
Excellent seller, tree received very quickly, appears to be in perfect health and slightly larger than expected. Perfect ;)

south Calvados, cold and windy, 280 meters (919 feet) above sea level.
Essential oil chosen for its rapid growth (1m/year) and aesthetic appeal (known and already planted in 1992) and has become imposing.
Neutral tendency soil.
Requires a support - even guy wires - during the first 3 years.
Often has multiple leading shoots.
Its foliage is dense and fine, providing cool shade and a "soothing melody in the breeze" characteristic of this type of conifer (pinus).
Attention: requires space and distance to fully enjoy its charm.
If there is room, it is preferable to choose this over a P.Nigra.

He arrived on time, very cute, in good condition, I planted the young plant following the instructions, and with two stakes and ties made from inner tubes...exposed to the wind, by the seaside. Looking forward to next year!! If it's still around.
I am a bit disappointed by the pruning of the received subject, which also arrived completely pendulous from its 2-litre pot, with the shoot dry and broken. I was expecting better, even though the price was advantageous. However, it seems vigorous to me and I have high hopes for its growth. It is exposed to the south, without any neighbours, in order to be able to develop well. To be continued!

AMIENS
Impeccable reception of the package. The young plant did not suffer during transportation and handling. The vine-plant was well protected from the monkeys' despair. For now, I have planted it in a medium-sized pot to easily monitor its growth before permanently placing it in the ground, as I haven't decided on the best location for it in the garden yet. It is slowly developing, so it seems to be thriving. I am satisfied with my purchase as I got a quality plant at a reasonable price.

Balaruc le Vieux" translates to "Old Balaruc" in British English.
This is my first order, and it won't be the only one! Hats off for the timely delivery, just 48 hours from Lille to Montpellier. Bravo to the entire team at Promesse de fleurs! (anecdote: The naked araucaria doesn't produce it!) Another pleasant surprise, expected to be between 20 and 30 cm (8 and 12in), this one is actually 45 cm (18in)! Thank you for all these attentions, it's impossible to be disappointed! I highly recommend... Very sincerely, Georges.

We planted one about 50 km (31.1mi) south of Lyon, about thirty years ago. It withstood cold spikes of -15° (5°F) without losing its thorns and without them browning. Moreover, the climate can be dry in summer, it has never been watered. The soil is very well-drained. There is no water table. And it has not shown any signs of water stress. It currently measures about ten meters in height with a corresponding diameter. Perhaps being planted in conditions that are not optimal for it has slightly dwarfed it, but it is very healthy and has the original habit of araucarias.
