Thanks to the staff (for order preparation and shipping), the bare-root rose bush I received appears to be healthy. Planted near a lilac, I am now cautiously awaiting its spring growth (or lack thereof)... Note: I received it with its variety label (important for identifying the rose bush in all seasons).

Thanks to the CP & ? (for order preparation & quality control and shipping service) individuals, the bare-root standard rose received appears healthy to me. Planted near Lochinvar, Stanwell Perpetual, Sir Walter Scott, and many others... now I await spring growth...(or not?). Note: Received without the variety label (which is essential for identifying the rose in all seasons). This is the opinion of an amateur who has successfully planted over 850 different rose varieties in their garden.

Unhealthy plant. The value for money is not there at all.

I have owned this 'Pleureur' New Dawn rose for about ten years. It blooms beautifully twice a year and its roses have a pleasant scent of Granny Smith green apples. Its only flaw is that it is susceptible to rust. During the flowering season, I alternate between spraying systemic fungicides and a solution of baking soda (1 teaspoon per litre of water) with a drop of dish soap added. However, rust is very difficult to eradicate once it has taken hold among the roses. It always develops from the bottom up, so I also treat the stems and the soil. In autumn, when the leaves fall, I use Bordeaux mixture and remove as many contaminated leaves as possible from the branches and the ground.

The stems of the rose bush are stiff, not well-suited for a weeping form. I'm not convinced that I can train it to be weeping as advertised.

Sublime! It's its second spring, it has a lot of roses, it looks magnificent in my little garden...

Just been planted, everything is fine for now.
