IT IS NOT A SUCCESS
On 6, only 2 young plants have survived. However, the summer has been warm. The soil was good but probably not retentive enough. Therefore, I unearthed the remaining plants and planted them in a field of plants with a good mixture of sand, as is done for Japanese maples.
