Siberian Kiwi Duo 'Ken's Red' (female) + 'Issai' (pollinator)

Product sheet

Pissos
Ken's Red has grown well, but Issai is slowly regrowing from the base, none of its branches from last year seem alive and now it has just been eaten...

The ken' red is dead, Issai won't be long before opening its buds. What a shame.

Wiers
Delighted with my two Kiwis, they arrived quickly and were healthy and vigorous. I am deducting one star as I am disappointed with the pruning, which was about 25-30 cm (10-12in) instead of the advertised 40/60 cm (16/24in)! Lovely duo.

Vitry Sur Seine" would be translated as "Vitry-sur-Seine" in British English.
So, the Issai vine looks rather healthy, whereas the Ken's Red vine looks completely dead. All dried up, no leaf, hollow stem... serious doubts about its recovery...

charente" can be translated into British English as "cognac".
The young plants are "thin", especially the "Ken's Red", which has little chance of recovering due to the poorly developed root system... The "Issai" seems a bit sturdier, relatively speaking. The problem is that I won't know if the recovery has taken place until next spring, but the warranty is only for 6 months... And not to mention the warranty, assuming that the pollinator plant recovers but not the female one, I would lose 1 year of cultivation... Overall, quite disappointed. I used good soil and a root stimulator... Don't tell me I don't know how to plant...

Languedoc
The young plant is dead, it was midrib planted next to two other tillers bought elsewhere and in perfect health.

Languedoc
The young plant is dead. The midrib, planted next to two other ones bought elsewhere, are magnificent and thriving. I am disappointed.

To be continued
Planted in the summer, this young plant duo has taken well. We must wait for fruiting to give a more comprehensive opinion.

The young plants arrived in good condition but once they were planted, they languished. One of the tillers completely dried up despite being watered!

Subjects generally in good condition
Out of the four subjects received (two male plants and two female plants), one male plant appears to be rather thin. So, we will have to wait and see the outcome.
