Excellent germination rate!

Thanks to the heat of last summer, I managed to grow an aubergine in Brittany, without any protection.

The Barbentane eggplant is a hardy eggplant that is easy to grow and produces very good fruits. It thrives in clay-limestone soil (challenging soil). The seed germinates quite well as long as you take the necessary precautions for cultivation and sowing. I highly recommend this eggplant for beginner gardeners. Thank you, Promesse de Fleurs.

Seed of very good quality. Using a tapetum heating mat for the germination of these seeds, I successfully grew my young plants for the first time. Perfect.
