The bulb arrived in pieces and was broken. One piece is starting to sprout, and I have put all of them in damp sphagnum to encourage more sprouts before planting. I can't see any growing points on the other pieces, but just in case I'm surprised, I will give them an opportunity to show their viability.

Delighted It's growing well and getting bigger. It must be about 70cm (28in) tall. It has a tall stem with branching. Buds are forming, I can't wait for them to open so I can admire them.

A puny dahlia, no flowers, disappointment once again.

He accepted my sandy soil without any fuss, but was grateful for me giving him a few grains of fertiliser in homeopathic doses to kickstart the flowers and foliage!

This dahlia didn't grow.

Excellent product quality even with a late order, perfect result.

Will I see such a tiny flower again at the end of summer?

A bit tall

I rate this one slightly lower because it's too discreet.

Just bloomed, very pretty dark flower.
