Our Phlebodium Range. Phlebodia are sometimes called 'Golden Polypody' or 'Blue Fern'. These are very trendy houseplants ideal for adding an elegant tropical touch to your decor. Highly popular, the Phlebodium aureum ‘Blue Star’ features long blue-green undulate fronds. Its spreading habit makes it perfect for shelves or hanging displays. The Phlebodium pseudoaureum also known as Blue Polypody can be grown outdoors in mild climates.
Native to the tropical forests of America, this fern range belongs to the Polypodiaceae family. Its slightly waxy fronds, sometimes exceeding 50 cm, bring lightness and volume to your decor. Among other varieties, the Phlebodium aureum ‘Davana’ offers spectacular curly fronds, while the Phlebodium aureum 'Mandaianum' features large, deeply lobed and highly arched fronds.
Phlebodia love indirect light and humid ambient air, making them perfect for a bright bathroom or living room. Use a well-draining substrate and keep the soil moist without excess water. These ferns thrive in a constant temperature between 15 and 25 °C.
