Planted upon receipt in February 2022, in an unfavorable rocky area, the vine-plant has flowered a little in spring. In August 2022, it has withstood repeated heatwaves and its habit is rather good.
I planted this young Kolkwitzia at the beginning of last autumn. It has been growing very well since the start of spring and is starting to bloom. The flowers are very beautiful!
PALAISEAU" would be translated as "palate" in English.
This Kolkwitzia amabilis (type species) is not easy to find unlike the "pink cloud" available in all garden centres; it is more imposing and therefore reserved for large gardens, but it is resistant and not very demanding (I am adjusting my plantings with the changing climate) and I bought it to shelter the birds at the back of my garden (the land behind my house was sold and a vibrant grove was removed). Happy to have found it.

Dordogne Zone 8" would be translated as "Dordogne, Zone 8" in British English.
11.09.2018 My 2 ones arrived in the spring in perfect condition. I am delighted. They are shooting quite well, but I had to water them every day during the 2018 heat wave. It is still very hot in the Land of Michel de Montaigne, in Dordogne; and I continue to water them every 3 days. Thank you, Promise of Flowers.

4 stars
Field of plants received in good condition, well-ramified bushes. Well packaged. The young plants look very healthy, which is why I give 4 stars. Everything is as described on the website. Just have to wait for them to shoot again...

Disappointed
Very disappointed. The young plant was under another pot, the branches broke. Moreover, it is completely unbalanced. 3 very low branches that go to the left, no branch to the right. I planted it but the 3 branches are literally lying on the soil. I find that the quality is not up to par. This makes me hesitate for a future order.

A bit disappointed
My neck of beauty is not in very good shape, it is a bit sparse. The habit and the carrier company did not spare it either, luckily on the package it says fragile because they treated it very badly!!!
