. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this order as the young plant did not take root. I had planted it in early December, following the planting instructions. It was generously watered in the spring. I can send a photo if you'd like.

Marseille
Subject delivered in good condition in spring 2021, but the trunk cut before delivery was shorter than announced (I ordered the one with a minimum height of 125cm (49in). I would say it measured around 80cm (32in) upon arrival). Planted in isolation on an east-facing mound, it struggled to develop during the repeated heatwaves of the past 2 years, despite being partially shaded and receiving regular watering. It has hardly grown in the past 2 years and has only slightly thickened. However, the buds of this third year finally give us hope for better growth. So, patience...

The young plants were beautiful and vigorous except unfortunately a few of them were pruned very short...this might create gaps in the hedge...

Entraigues Sur La Sorgue
Young plant delivered in a bucket. Always well-packaged. At the moment, the vegetation is in dormancy. I am waiting for spring to see the growth.

Ventavon

Vicq sur mer" would be translated as "Vicq-by-the-sea" in British English.
I ordered these charms to start a small forest of pre-bonsai trees for pruning over several years. Upon their arrival, they appear to be in good shape, and I can already envision my future success.

Pruning" size and vigorous.
I was surprised by the large pruning of the hornbeam, whose main branch was cut to fit in the 1m (3ft) box! I am looking forward to seeing it start in the spring.

I am old-fashioned, 61 years old, and I had never seen such vibrant and magnificent naked roots.

What is the difference between a hornbeam and a hornbeam hedge?
