Pleasant
Very resilient! Planted last autumn, at the base of the cedars. I left this summer. Upon my return, in partial shade, it was in flower. I watered it very little, mainly due to the recent planting. Moreover, the flowering is truly delicate. No suspected diseases.

I have had this plant, alcalthaea 'Park Allee', since 2013. I moved it to a different location in 2015. And I even divided its roots into 3 pieces in 2018 to obtain 3 gorgeous specimens that continue to bloom and amaze visitors to my garden. It is situated in a full sun, south-facing position, with scorching temperatures for 3 summers in Lorraine without any rain for 6 weeks... good garden soil. I strongly believe that it needs our attention several times a day to thrive and blossom even more beautifully.

Planted in spring 2019, it has bloomed very well from the first summer. I had forgotten about it until this spring when I saw it grow again, and since then it has become enormous and attracts curiosity. Top-notch.

I hope to be able to recover this young plant planted in the spring, placed in a mini greenhouse upon receipt of the package. To be determined???

I bought this young plant in April 2018, the tiller, and upon its arrival, it was more than ugly. In fact, I contacted "promesse de fleurs" to express my doubts about its recovery with a rotten leaf. Well, the summer of 2019 brought a wonderful flowering, a magnificent specimen over 2 metres (7 feet) tall, taking up much more space than I had anticipated. It is exposed to the sun, but not direct sunlight, and it didn't struggle, unlike others, despite the heat of this summer... So, I wanted to share this review after seeing others' in order to show that this plant is rather easy to care for, even better than the hollyhock, and despite a difficult start, it just needs time to settle in...

I come back to this young plant which, after flowering once in two years, died this year: doesn't like the sun contrary to the indications and is neither worth the effort nor the price.

Arcachon
young plant that has finally decided to flower this year. definitely prefers shade, at least in my case! after a year without flowers, I pruned it completely and it produced ONE stem. Highly overrated, in my opinion.
