Margny-Lès-Compiègne" would be translated as "Margny-Lès-Compiègne" in British English, as it is a proper noun and does not require translation.
I already had some small ferns of this type in my garden, so I wanted to complete my collection by ordering them this time from this website. I chose the 2L size and I am pleasantly surprised! They are beautiful and much larger than shown in the descriptive photo.

Checy" ne nécessite pas de traduction car il s'agit d'un nom propre qui n'a pas d'équivalent en anglais britannique.
Received 2 very beautiful specimens, well leafy!! :) I already had a fern of this variety, and I love the new fronds, a very rare orangish-pink-copper color, that it produces in spring. Moreover, I like the fact that it is evergreen, and also its wild aspect that contributes to creating a nice undergrowth atmosphere. As a result, the 2 little newcomers bring life to my main flowerbed, along with my other colourful bushes and perennials, evergreen, and all of it offers a festival of colours and shapes even in the heart of winter! Personally, with this in mind, I find that these ferns go very well with the "Everillo" Carex (chartreuse yellow, beautiful in semi-shade) and "Prairie Fire" Testacea (olive green in spring and summer, then coppery orange in autumn-winter, but to be placed in the sun), blue fescues (also for the sun), "Gulf Stream" Nandina domestica (orange in autumn-winter), "Firepower" and "Obsessed Seika" (red in autumn-winter) (mine are more in semi-shade), abelias (the "Kaléidoscope" and "Confetti" varieties are nice, to be placed in full sun), heucheras (especially the "Forever Purple", "Wild Rose", "Black Pearl" and "Red Lightning" varieties, more for semi-shade) and compact mini Pampas grasses, great for flowerbeds (variety "Pumila") for a wild effect, and sublime when they undulate in the wind (evergreen like all the other plants mentioned above, and they keep their plumes in winter)..... And when spring comes, other beautiful deciduous foliage can complete the picture - "Goldflame" and "Thor Gold" spiraeas, "Orange Ice", "Golden Torch" and "Rosy Rocket" Berberis thunbergii, and for flowers, echinaceas, rudbeckias, tall yellow yarrows, Gaura lindheimeri, "Little Spire" Perovskia (long flowering periods)........... and then you can be sure it's a success!! (and I know what I'm talking about, since it's my main flowerbed that I'm describing here LOL)...... not to mention that the maintenance of all this is very limited. ;) Finally, for the tall bushes, you can add 1 "Orange Glow" Pyracantha that you lightly prune every year to keep it in shape, 2 "Profusion" Callicarpa bodinieri (for their... profusion, precisely... of small purple berries, very original, in autumn), 1 "Winter Flame Anny" or "Magic Flame" Cornus sanguinea, and 1 "Forest Pansy" Cercis canadensis. And in the background, a mini row of 3 or 4 fastigiate birches, with 1 fastigiate blue cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana columnaris) on the side....... and then it's absolute ecstasy!! ;)
