From the delivery in March until the end of June, I was delighted. This young plant planted in a pot developed without any issues. Unfortunately, since the beginning of July, it started dropping its leaves and now even the branches are falling off. Of course, it has been watered normally. Planted in a pot in autumn, it remained beautiful throughout the winter. No problem.
Quite surprised upon receiving the pruning of the vine-plant, which was probably pruned close to the ground prior to shipping, measuring barely 5 cm (2in) in height and having just about thirty tiny leaves. Nonetheless, it was well packaged and looked vigorous, displaying variegated shades of light reds and purples. I am eager to see it grow, although the growth of nandina is relatively slow. I cannot plant it in the ground immediately due to the risk of spring pests. Therefore, it will grow in a young plant pot until it strengthens and gains size.
I recommend purchasing it to those who can demonstrate patience before wanting to appreciate its beautiful red in the garden.
