A pleasant surprise. It has come back nicely in the spring and thrives in the shade of the garden shed.

My akebia has settled in well and is vigorously climbing up my fence. We'll see next year for the flowers.

What I received has nothing to do with the photo presented. I paid £10 for a stem and 3 leaves at the end!!!!!! Attached photo.

Planted last autumn, it turned black in mid-summer. I never received any response or promise of flowers to my emails and photos, and it died in July.

Small clump but in great shape

Brilliant, it's starting to wrap around the pergola. Very satisfied.

It took her 3 years to truly bloom, but this year's flowering is magnificent and unique.
