I've had this plant for several years, and it used to produce beautiful flowers. This year, it only produced one pink flower and two violet ones. I don't understand what it lacked. Why did it change colour?

Unfortunately, I had to cut the stems as they were dead. The only one that is not producing any new shoots currently out of the 4 clematis received in the same shipment. I will wait another week before contacting you, as I still have hope that it will sprout again considering the vigour of the other clematis received and the size of the roots that I could see when repotting, which gives me hope.
