Crushed horn is an organic fertiliser of animal origin, rich in nitrogen, with slow, progressive and long-lasting release, suitable for all crops. It is very easy to use, it can be used when planting, during soil preparation in autumn, when repotting, or simply by spreading it at the base of trees, bushes and on the lawn. Very easy to use, this base fertiliser is used at planting, during soil preparation in autumn, when repotting, or by simply spreading it at the base of trees, bushes, and on the lawn. This 100% natural and biodegradable product can be used in organic farming. Sold in 1 Kg bags.

Crushed horn comes in ready-to-use chips. It is derived from slaughterhouse waste. It is intrinsically rich in nitrogen, like all organic materials of animal origin (dried blood, guano...) which contains 13% nitrogen, but also releases some phosphate (P), potash (K), and a small amount of magnesium (MgO). This product has the same characteristics as horn, but degrades more slowly under the action of soil microorganisms and thus has a more slow-release effect, over a year or even several years: the plant takes up nutrients as it needs them. Mixing crushed horn with the planting soil poses no risk of root burn for the plants. However, avoid overdosing to prevent excessive leaf and stem production at the expense of flowering and fruiting.

Suitable for all crops, crushed horn can be used from February to November.

Dosage:
- From 300 g to 500 g per tree at planting
- 100 g/m2 for vegetable garden maintenance, flowering plants, bushes, and when creating a lawn.

Main uses Crushed horn is a base fertiliser suitable for all crops. It is very easy to use when planting, during soil preparation in autumn for the vegetable garden, or when creating a flower bed, a lawn, or repotting plants grown in containers or pots. For maintenance, the crushed horn can be spread and then incorporated into the soil by raking, at the base of trees and bushes. A simple spreading on the lawn is sufficient. Crushed horn, mixed with the planting soil, presents no risk of root burn for the plants. However, avoid overdosing to prevent excessive leaf and stem production at the expense of flowering and fruiting. Suitable for all crops, crushed horn is used from February to November. Dosage: - From 300 g to 500 g per tree when planting - 100 g/m2 for vegetable garden maintenance, flowering plants, bushes, and when creating a lawn. The opened bag should be carefully closed and stored away from sunlight and bad weather, in a dry place.
