Good mulch, but degrades quickly.

Easy to cut and position. Perfect for protecting plants and limiting weed growth. However, as for its lifespan... I'm not sure it will last more than a year.

Placed on a slope in 2021, this mulch is still doing the job by late 2022. It is gradually decomposing, which allows my plants to establish themselves well without being smothered by weeds.

Recently installed, allows water to pass through, keeps the soil moist (I will see this summer, living in the southwest), and hopefully prevents weed growth. A slit down the middle would have been a plus.
