Absolutely agree: my elm tree impresses every visitor, but I am very worried because we had heavy wet snowfalls and several branches have been broken. Can I do some more pruning to give it a harmonious shape again? Thank you.

I bought this elm 25 years ago. It grew in Brittany (acidic soil) and was then transferred to the Alpes de Haute Provence (limestone soil) where it has developed beautifully in the open ground. As an adult, without ever any disease, it has a very elegant and compact habit, making it a little masterpiece to showcase in small and large gardens.

The young plant was planted in January and it is starting to produce some leaves! It looks like it has taken root. Located in a humus-bearing soil, facing south, we will see...

Arrived in perfect condition, well packaged, and with healthy roots. 2 stems with very few branches, exactly as shown in the photo, but the tallest one is 70 cm (28in) long.
